This is Citrine Tangerine

Citrine Tangerine was founded in 2019 by me, Citrine! (Aka Megan LaCroix but PLEASE call me Citrine!) Previously my brand was called All Around Style but I rebranded to better suit the style of my hand made gemstone jewelry. This rebrand, which also marked a gigantic shift in how I design jewelry, was my way of starting over. After years of experience, exploration, and experimentation, I felt a rebrand the best way to apply all my newly processed knowledge.

Citrine Tangerine came about as a nickname my dear friends Patrick and Ryan Nash called me. We were living our best lives in Chicago bar hopping, walking in fashion shows, shopping, and generally rocking out. The name is inspired by an optimistic zest for life, the vibrant colors of our style, and this bright ability to uplift those around. The jewelry is designed to inspire, uplift and bring more color into your life with playful and thoughtful details that make you smile. As Citrine Tangerine grows, new items and products have organically been created that fit our lifestyle such as Princess Tea and Window Charms!

It is exciting to grow. We’re also focused on gaining new skills and knowledge such as sourcing gemstones with our own two hands, sourcing gemstones directly from responsible companies/ independent miners, reading about gemstones/where they come from/how they form, and it is our intention to become certified in gemology/mineralogy. This is one of our main goals for 2021! Eventually we’d like to make all our own beads, cabs & faceted stones. We are happy to know you and to grow together. This is Citrine Tangerine. P.s. The name Citrine comes from the first gemstone added to my collection. I found it on a visit to North Carolina when my family evacuated from a Hurricane. At the time we lived in South Carolina. I still have this golden yellow citrine crystal and it is my most coveted stone because it’s always been part of my collection.
