Princess Tea Recipe

I have an obsession with hot liquids. I love soup and often indulge with single origin coffee. But TEA is the essence of relaxation. Lately I've been drinking a lot of loose leaf teas. My go to cup of tea has been lemon grass. I am also a sucker for Jasmine pearls or fresh cut ginger (some times I mix the two, YUM!). 

Drinking tea during the 2020 quarantine helped me deal with quarantine fatigue. Being locked inside was challenging my ability to relax at home. It was during these times that I tried to remember to practice appreciating the small things in life. Tea time helps me stay grounded and reminds me to slow down, enjoy the process, smell the aroma, and taste the herbal or floral flavors. Some how it was easy to forget simple pleasures over the years and it was noticeable during the massive quarantine. Never the less, Since it's inevitably getting colder, I thought I'd share the recipe of my first tea blend. 

​I call it Princess Tea. Of course this tea can be enjoyed by anyone and definitely should be enjoyed by everyone. The blend simply reminds me of fancy-ness and also makes me feel pampered. We all deserve a bit of the royal treatment every once in a while.. So here it is! 

Princess Tea Blend by Citrine is a delicious floral mixture of:

• Lavender Flowers
• Pure Lemongrass
• Organic Egyptian Chamomile
• Pure Lemon Verbena
• Jasmine Dragon Pearls​
