The moon is an endless source of inspiration and her visions are prevalent in my life. You can see here a blend of a full moon glowing in the distance and a spring frost that in my opinion resembles the moons surface textures. I then blended the two images together and played with color layers.

Megan LaCroix, also known as Citrine, is a multi-media artist rooted in Michigan. Summers spent exploring Northern Michigan sparked her love for nature-inspired art, leading her to jewelry, photography, and mixed media. A 2014 BFA graduate from the University of Michigan School of Art & Design, she now lives and works in Detroit.
