From Model to Designer: Citrine Spirit

From model to designer - Citrine will show her latest collection with Fashion Bar in Chicago April 25, 2026 on the Magnificent Mile at iconic shopping center Water Tower Place. It is true, I’m showing in Chicago and it feels so good. Like another full circle, a cycle complete. Aligned for evolution and at the beginning of the zodiac year no less.

It was 2017 when I hit the runway in Chicgao as a model for the first time. This experience was transformational and projected me into a new dimension! Modeling for Fashion Bar set a standard that will forever be the foundation of my fashion industry experience. A fashion industry that has space for all bodies, styles, and identities. I am forever grateful.

Of course when I set my sights on Chicago, Tony Long at Fashion Bar came to mind. Nearly a decade after modeling with them, Fashion Bar is still going strong as an incubator and accelerator for independent fashion designers, models, photographers and creatives. My aim with this collection is to resonate with your will to live, your resilience regardless of challenges faced as people and as a community. How do we look beyond the veil strategically placed before our eyes attempting to bind our hearts?
Tear it down, look beyond, look out, and look UP! 
The ASPECT collection has the audacity to face fear and conquer it. To transmute negativity into powerful motions forward. To look to the stars and the universe for ancient truths/archetypes that connect us through centuries and beyond. If Bold is the dress code then this collection is the armor needed to transcend narratives & propaganda created to contain & capture our souls by instead tapping into our true spiritual power through self expression. The wanderer, the healer, the shaman, the goddess, the myths, the legends, the emotions, the truths, the lies, the lore that thread through time and connect us today. I have long pondered what is beyond this earthly plane, drawing on symbolism, stories, and history of times long ago. Every day I see the powerful spiritual abilities within each and every one of us. Break beyond fear and embody your powers.
